Medicare Part A:
Hospital Insurance covers inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and some Home health services. Most individuals don’t pay a premium for Part A if they or their spouse paid Medicare taxes while working.
Medicare Part B:
Medical Insurance covers doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services. It requires a monthly premium based on income, ensuring comprehensive healthcare coverage.
Preventive Care: Many health insurance plans offer coverage for preventive services such as vaccinations, screenings, and annual check-ups, promoting early detection of potential health issues.
Medicare Part C:
Medicare Advantage Plans combine Parts A and B coverage and are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare. These plans often include additional benefits like prescription drug coverage (Part D) and may have varied costs and coverage rules.
Medicare Part D:
Prescription Drug Coverage provides coverage for prescription drugs. It can be added to Original Medicare or included in a Medicare Advantage Plan, offering different costs and coverage based on the plan.
